ABOUT THE LAW OFFICES OF CURTIS BLOOD
Curtis L. Blood has practiced in the same brown
brick building in Collinsville, Illinois since
1991. The appellate practice started with
court-appointed appeals before United States
courts of appeals. The practice currently serves
individual clients rather than corporations, and
is about evenly split between civil and criminal
and between state and federal. Despite a
substantial number of private clients, Mr. Blood
continues to serve from time to time as
court-appointed counsel on appeal for people who
cannot afford to hire an attorney.
Established in 1991,
this office is devoted to appellate practice over a
wide range of substantive areas, both civil and
criminal, and both state and federal. Curtis Blood is
licensed and available in the Illinois appellate and
supreme courts and the United States courts of appeals
for the sixth, seventh and eighth circuits as well as
the United States supreme court. Mr. Blood takes pride in being available to talk to
his clients and keeping them well-informed. If you
want your appeal handled in that way, call him.
