CURTIS BLOOD ATTORNEY PROFILE
Curtis Blood has extensive experience in all
phases of appellate litigation, Federal and
Illinois State, civil and criminal law. He has
worked approximately 200 appellate cases, both
prosecuting and defending and served as Counsel of
record in 84 published appellate opinions.
Mr. Blood personally handles every duty related to
his client's appeal. He does not entrust any of it
to junior attorneys or paralegals.
Mr. Blood served as an appellate clerk and
appellate criminal prosecutor before entering
private practice, first with a multi-lawyer firm and
finally as a sole practitioner. He has been involved
in appeals, either as counsel or with the court,
since he became licensed to practice law in 1978.
Mr. Blood is a union musician and an avid cyclist.
